[Lindengardens] Snow Removal

Hello, Aaron et al.
I have been in touch with Adam and talked to the J&J men this morning on my way into work. The problem of snow removal is almost insoluble when we have this much snow and we also have three cars parked against the side wall that belong to our neighbors. It wouldn't be so bad if they parked in a rational way, but the car closest to the dumpster seems deliberately to have parked in a way that makes it impossible for us to put any snow in that corner.
This may be as a "retaliation" for an ongoing dispute about back payments (which I won't go into here). I did ask Adam to talk to their attorney, so that he could relay the message that if the car could repark closer to the other two, our problems would be much eased. But it's unlikely that the owner will acknowledge receiving our message at all, let alone graciously.
I did tell the snowmen that my space (which is #3, between the two cars close to the building in the back corner) is vacant so that the two cars back there might be able to reposition themselves and they could put snow in the corner. But the space has to be cleared out first, and I'm not there to see how it's going. (Won't be home until late tonight.)
If necessary, we can have snow hauled away, but J&J said they couldn't get to that until the end of the week. I'm hopeful that by then the rain and the warm-up will diminish the snow enough for people to be able to maneuver.
I know it's a pain for all, but such storms are rare (thank god)—at least so far!
Marty

Hi Everyone,
At this time, J&J created separate "islands" of snow in the back parking lot. In between each island are spaces to allow cars to try and maneuver in and out of their spaces. For some spaces, this will be a bit tricky (like an obstacle course), especially for some of the spaces closest the brick building (especially the two spaces near the back corner alley and the rear entrance door). I don't believe J&J ever got their Bobcat tractor working to scoop up snow, so this will probably be the only resolution for right now. If you have further questions, contact Adam Williams at Paradigm Partners at 617-349-1100; Adam has been in contact with J&J today.
Unfortunately, I think the snow conditions may also prevent Waste Management from reaching our dumpster.
Aaron

Hi everyone,
J&J Builders is working on the lot now, and have offered to help anyone who comes out get their car out of the lot.

I just got a call from J&J Builders, the company with which we have a snow removal contract. He said they will be out to clear the lot by midnight tonight. Apparently their Bobcat broke down...
For everyone's future reference, the contact number for J&J is 781-983-4451<x-msg://56/>.
