Hi, all,
The machine that adds $ to the laundry cards seems to be kaput.  When 
I went down a little while ago, it had totally frozen and would not 
function.  I thought that maybe unplugging it would help it to 
"reboot", so I did that.  When I plugged it back in, it appeared to 
be totally dead.

I don't know whether there is some other simple way to restart it; I 
am currently doing my laundry at the laundromat (which is quite 
expensive now, $5/load, although with free drying).  Trustees:  Do 
you want to call Dan Silva, or do you want me to do it?
