Dan Silva will be sending his repairman tomorrow morning between 10 and 11 to fix the washing machine next to the door.  He will also have the repairman replace the card reader on the other washing machine.  Keep in mind that he doesn't know if this will resolve the delay issue in starting the cleaning cycle.

Thanks, Candy, for your detailed reminder of the serious complexities of the laundry contract! 

I apologize for my flippant email late last night—which, in any case, I should have sent to the owners' list instead of the occupants'.

It does make sense to hold Sylva to taking care of the machines, for now, and then definitely to have our attorney send him a termination- of-contract letter before the end of the calendar year.
