[Lindengardens] Sporadic Alarm Noises

I wonder if  the alarm I'm talking about is the Heat Detector, not the Smoke Detector.  Because whichever it is in my unit, it too was erupting in short sporadic bursts, and it was loud enough to give me a huge jolt each time. I think the heat detector is the larger of two round alarm consoles on the ceiling in my unit, next to one another. Anyway, that's the one I disconnected, and it does sound like the same problem you were having.
