[Lindengardens] Water shut off 9am Friday

I just wanted to second Chris' point that the problem is worse at peak demand times. It's not nearly as much of a problem for me on the weekdays (when I shower at 6:00 am) than it is on the weekends (when I shower in the late morning).

I have also noticed this, and this is the first year I have noticed it, although it is my 5th (right?) winter in the building. For a while, it was coming out burning hot, and lately, it is getting cold on and off in the middle of my shower -- which should not happen, with the tankless water heater, I believe. I was wondering if someone had played with the temperature on it?? Or, if Chris is right and it needs an adjustment -- I don't remember how long ago we had this boiler put in. But it would be good to get it checked out.

We have had a problem with fluctuating water temperature in the shower and at times it taking a long time for the water to heat up when the shower is first started (the latter usually happens early in the morning).

I have noticed this problem in my unit since the onset of winter, and it's still there. Seems to be worse during peak demand times.
But I've only noticed it in the shower - never had a problem with the water temp coming out of the sink.
We have a 2 stage boiler, and it may need an adjustment to cope during peak times.

This is sort of unrelated, but has anyone else had their water fluctuate between warm and cold? I have had that problem recently and was wondering if it was just me, or if there is a larger problem within the building. - Jordan Unit 13 On Feb 4, 2010, at 1:52 PM, Charlie Denison wrote: > Hello all, > > Unit 21 is going to have the water to the building shut off tomorrow at 9AM for appx. 2 hours to do some work in their unit. > > Please plan accordingly.
