The meeting was fine. we're supposed to try out the new configuration tuesday morning. I hope his tenants park accordingly.
The washing machine situation is very frustrating. we should fax and send an informal letter to him and document this refusal to fix it. The escalate when he ignores that.

Charlie et al,
I am wondering what happened with your meeting with Jim Douglass last week -- I see that some of the vehicles are still parking in a way that would block the Waste Management pick up.
I am also wondering what is happening with the washing machine. In the past, Dan Silva has gotten someone out here to fix it pretty immediately when it is broken. If he is not doing that now, I wonder whether this is our opening to break the contract, since he is not following through on his end. In any case, it's inconvenient to have one working washing machine for 17 units!
Thanks,
Candy

The way they have been parking that works with the current dumpster location is the following (not to scale):
Where the yellow car is parked now will not work. I left him/her a note on Tuesday, and on Tuesday night, he/she was pulled up in the back corner (which is good), but then last night the yellow car was back to the spot it's in now, AND a minivan was parked to the right of it, directly in front of the dumpster.
The trustees are meeting with the owner of Hayden Terrace next week to discuss this. Hopefully he will put down lines soon so this will be resolved.

Hi,
It looks like the yellow m3 was in that same spot this morning (which
would block access to the dumpster if it was Monday/Tuesday). Is
that a valid spot for Hayden Terrace? Do we need to work out a
different spot for them?

Well, and also, I believe we pay $100 or something like that to have
Waste Management come back if they've tried to empty the dumpster and
haven't been able to. I think we should be charging Hayden Terrace
for those fees.

I think we should have the authority to tow anyone blocking the
dumpster.

Hi Everyone,
We apologize for the overflowing dumpster situation. One of the
cars parked on the Hayden Terrace property is blocking Waste
Management's access to the dumpster. We have contacted the owner of
Hayden Terrace and asked him to move the car. Once this occurs,
we'll ask Waste Management to re-schedule our weekly pick-up.
Aaron
