candy,

We also get the globe and i went out at about 8:00 yesterday morning and there were two globes.  I grabbed one and brought the other inside and put it on the little table inside the foyer.  I should have brought it in all the way  - sorry.

Hi, all,
I saw this
article:  http://www2.cw56.com/news/articles/local/BO114206/ and
thought people might be interested -- it's about an attempted armed
robbery, again in the area of Elm and White.  Not to be unduly
alarming; I have always experienced this as a very safe neighborhood
and still do.  But I just thought people might want to be aware, and
also to know that this particular guy was caught.

On another topic:  I get the Sunday Globe delivered, and yesterday, I
was at work all day, and by the time I returned, it was not here.  I
was wondering if anyone saw it or picked it up, and if you did grab
it, if you could leave it for me.  At different times, several of us
have subscribed to the Globe.....in the future, if anyone sees
newspapers out in the foyer, it can be a help to just place them
inside the door, so they don't walk away.  Thanks!

And third -- great idea, Anna et al, for the garden party!  I am not
sure yet if I will be able to be here at that time, but will try to
be if I can!  The garden is looking great, very inviting; and I think
it is so exciting that we are growing veggies here.  Thanks again for
all your work, creativity and community spirit!

Candy
