Hi, all,
I also want to thank Anna and Andres for setting up this list.  I 
think that we can use it for other messages that we want to send to 
building residents but are not necessary to send to owners (e.g., 
information about how work projects will affect parking, notes about 
objects left in the building, etc.).

I also notice that the default seems to be that hitting "reply" goes 
to just the person who sent the message, so if you want to reply to 
the whole list, you need to hit "reply all".  This sometimes takes 
some getting used to.  I am on another list that is hosted by MIT, 
and which is currently set to this default.  We have found one 
potential glitch in that, which is that if you hit "reply all" and 
don't delete the sender's name from the "to" field, that person may 
get two messages, but more likely, that person's email program may 
drop the one sent to the group, which means that that person does not 
know whether the message they are receiving was sent to the whole 
group or just to them.  I don't think that will lead to some of the 
problems here that we have had on the other list (people resending 
messages that were meant to be private to the whole list), but I just 
wanted to note to people that, if you want to reply to the whole 
list, the best thing is to hit "reply all", and then delete the name 
of the individual sender from the "to" field.

I also like the name Linden Gardens!  Maybe we will change the name 
of the whole condo to that!  (I have an agenda to get rid of the name 
"Linden Gate"; I think it is bad luck!  I am only partially kidding 
about this!  :-)  )
