Social Fabrics: Wearable + Media + Interconnectivity
As media becomes a more intuitive part of our experience as humans
and the technologies themselves vanish into furniture and walls as
well as pockets and fabrics, wearable technology art will continue to
do the opposite: to make connections with the palpable, the
fantastic, the self-consciously mechanistic, and the intractably
organic aspects of the body as dynamic interface. View the Social
Fabrics: Wearable + Media + Interconnectivity gallery curated by
Susan Ryan on Leonardo On-Line (also available in the current print
issue Leonardo 42:2, April 2009). FIND OUT MORE
