Tom's Phone is the first feature film by Lebanese director Pierre Abs and
producer Patrick Zeitouni. The film was independently financed and is one of
the feature length movies to be shot entirely in HD-Video. Tom's Phone has
been submitted to several U.S. and international film festivals, and is
expected to go into theatrical distribution in Summer 2009.
About the filmmakers:
Pierre and Patrick both discovered their passion for film during the
Lebanese Civil War, and Tom's Phone marks the culmination of that passions
after their collaboration on several shorts and documentaries. In 2008 they
co-founded Filthy Martini Films as the vehicle for future movie productions.
Patrick is also a 2nd year MBA at MIT Sloan.
Pierre and Patrick will be available for Q&A at the screening.
