Hi everyone,

Most of you know me well enough or long enough to know that every year (for
the last 5 yrs) I run the Boston Marathon for a good cause. This will be my
2nd marathon running for the American Liver Foundation's Run For Research
Team. The ALF is the nation's leading nonprofit organization promoting liver
health and disease prevention. ALF provides research, education and advocacy
for those affected by liver-related diseases including hepatitis. This year
alone, liver cancer deaths rose by 10%. This is an alarming number and more
needs to be done to save the lives of those affected - everyone deserves a
chance to live and be healthy.

Last year and this year, I have had the honor to run for a little boy named
Dominic. Dominic is 13 years old and has had 3 liver transplants already.
His body has rejected the first 2 transplants he got. The only thing that
gets me through the long hours of training during the cold Boston winter is
Dominic and the fight to keep him healthy.

This cause is wonderful and I urge all of you to donate. Not tomorrow, or
next week, but today - if you intend to, please don't put it off... You will
forget. There is no better time. I'm not asking for any particular amount.
No donation is too small or too big. Feeling tight with money? A mere 25$
from 200 people would yield 5000$. Is 25$ too much to ask? To eat 1 meal in
at home rather than dining out? Is that too much to ask to help people like
Dominic have a chance to live and maybe enjoy eating out? I would say not.

You can make donations on my website:

International credit cards are accepted and contributions are
tax-deductible.

I thank you all for taking the time to read this, and do come out and watch
if you're around Boston on April 21st!
 Wishing you health & happiness.
