Join us for a screening of "Stolen Childhoods" and hear Beatrice
Fernando tell her story of human trafficking and slavery in
Lebanon. This event offers a deeper look into global child labor
and slavery as well as personal accounts and investigation into
the modern-day slave trade.

Narrated by Meryl Streep, this feature length film exposes the
world of child labor and slavery through the words of laboring
children, their parents, and human rights activists.

Beatrice Fernando: At the age of 23, Ms. Fernando was trafficked
by an "employment agency" from her native Sri Lanka to Lebanon,
where she was held as a slave, enduring brutal beatings, near
starvation, and other abuses. Visit
