Maxime Chaya, the first Lebanese to climb Mount Everest, has just begun
his new expedition:  to make it to the South Pole UNsupported!  He is
armed with an Iridium satellite phone a pda and a camera, and he will
be blogging as he makes his way across some of the harshest terrain in

Max is a real inspiration to the Lebanese and this expedition is a nice
positive event we can all be proud of, especially in these tough
