Dear all,

 

I am pleased to inform you that the MIT Arab Business Plan Competition
(www.mitarabcompetition.com <http://www.mitarabcompetition.com/> ) has been
officially launched last week in cooperation with Bader and LBCI both in
Lebanon and the Arab world (see TV spot attached).  This event is organized
by the Lebanese chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum headed by two Bader
members, Hala Fadel and Ziad Younes.

 

The MIT Business Plan Competition in the Arab World is the first of its kind
in the Arab region. It is designed to encourage all entrepreneurs in the
region to start their own company and ultimately create a nest of leading
firms in the Arab world. It is open to all Arabs, of all ages. It brings to
the Arab world all the MIT expertise in entrepreneurship and in running such
competitions. The equivalent of the MIT Business Plan competition in the US
at MIT is called the MIT $100K competition and has created a number of
leading firms and thousands of jobs.
