IT Delegation & Trade Mission from Lebanon to Washington, DC

Convener:  National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce

The National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce is organizing a trade mission
for an IT delegation coming from Lebanon and visiting Washington, D.C.
during December 5 & 6.  They will also visit San Jose, California (Dec 7 &
8), and Seattle, Washington (Dec 9 & 10).

The delegation is interested in the following:

- promoting the development of the IT sector in Lebanon, through
encouraging Lebanese services and software export
- collaborating with US Companies to expand US products and services
overseas through joint ventures and business development
- allowing further exchange of knowledge and services between Lebanese and
US based IT companies

Fifteen Lebanese software and service companies are participating in this
delegation (their profiles attached).  These companies have high export
motivation, a professional organizational structure, and staff
certification.  They have history and success stories and some have
regional presence.  Participants are decision makers or key-position
holders in their organizations.

"One-on-one" meetings are being arranged for the delegation members with
interested American companies.
