I think it'd be best to assume that the shared objects are installed for all the architectures that the host can run, if they are installed at all. Of course, if they're not, then you'll have some configuration-/build-/test-time error, but hey. And it's true that on some systems 32- and 64-bit components are not always both installed. Nico --
