Creating a new pre-authentication plugin

Hello,

I'm going to implement a new pre-authentication plugin, which perform 
client authentication based on a  GSS-API exchange (see specs here 
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-perez-krb-wg-gss-preauth-01).

When it is done, I would like it to be included into the main MIT 
Kerberos distribution, if you think it is useful. Is there any coding 
guidelines available for pre-authentication plugin developers, or for 
MIT Kerberos developers in general (i.e. how to format the code, how to 
comment the code...)? Otherwise, I would try to follow the existing 
examples (i.e PKINIT).
