OpenSSL in krb5-1.8

Hello,

 

I am working with the version 1.8 alpha release. I have configured using
"-with-crypto-impl=openssl".

Should I expect Kerberos 1.8 to compile and work with openssl crypto at
this point? 

I am seeing compile errors and I don't know if the openssl is fully
available yet.
