Caching of key schedules?  If you're going to encrypt 30000 short  
messages with the same key, it'd be faster if you don't have to  
generate the key schedule 30000 times.  This would mostly be of  
interest for the derived keys; there aren't going to be too many  
encryptions directly with the primary keys except to generate a  
handful of derived keys.
