I agree that we should start with a GSS-API extension design.  Since
this is for DCE-style stuff, why not start with a set of requirements
for that first, then the GSS-API extensions, finally the krb5 API
extensions?

Otherwise it's hard to tell whether this krb5 API design will meet the
requirements of the GSS-API mechanism.
