I just created #6311 with a patch which adds support for libtecla (http://www.astro.caltech.edu/~mcs/tecla/) to libss. The patch really should also modify the build system so that libtecla can be dynamically picked-up or dropped depending on availability. My auto* skills are weak so if anyone would like to add the auto* changes I'd appreciate it. -M
