Yes.  Perhaps we need a version of RTLD_NOW that is not fully recursive.
Until then folks who want this can use LD_BIND_NOW.

Also, you could make this an option in the mechglue config file, an
option in the app context (assuming you add one :) or leave it to
mechanism plugin developers to use -z now if they like.
