issue with db_module_dir parameter

Under typical usage, the compiled in default of db_module_dir will be
used and a dbname like db2 or ldap will be given.

db_module_dir will definitely be supported.

Ken seems to be proposing allowing the plugin loader to accept
absolute path names; that seems reasonable to me as an option.
