I suppose I'm being a curmudgeon, but I think that when you get a
package that it ought to be complete of itself. It shouldn't consist
of pointers to other things you need to also find, learn, and
integrate in order get the whole thing.
I'm not knocking subversion, but for the kind of patchwork stuff I do
even cvs is more overhead than it's worth.
