Mac OS X CCAPI

Is there a way to enable the shared memory credential cache api (CCAPI) in
Mac OS X in MIT distributed kerb 1.3.1 or later source?  I've tried defining
USE_CCAPI but it fails in the end as there are several _cc_* type internal
functions which are not present.
