Hmm, I was just about to write an email asking about the rationale, design, etc, of running a "slave" login process while a user is logged in when it dawned on me that login is part of appl/bsd and may fall into the "let it rot" basket. Is login really on the appl/bsd shortlist for the orphanage? If not, are attempts to make it better welcome? Darren
