please help with gina

Hello, 
I want to write a gina that allows to login to a local
workstation if a special device is present (I have a
usb device).
The problem is that i can't open handle to my device
when the gina runs.
But Device driver is loaded.

Please help me with recomendations and source code of
gina working with hardware (if possible)
