lprng uses private Kerberos Functions?

I was going to point out krb5/src/appl/sample/sclient/sclient.c since
it is a standard reference client, but *IT STILL USES krb5_net_read*
And sample/sserver/sserver.c uses krb5_net_write.

sigh.

(all hands raised in favor of "cvs rm appl" because it is such a
botch?)
