OS X 10.2 Extras don't work for Eudora...

Hey, here's one I can answer...

I spoke with Scott McGuire about this very problem this morning.  He 
said they found a shared library in the Eudora package that causes this 
problem.  If you pull up the contextual menu when clicking on Eudora, 
select "Show Package Contents".  When the window pops up with the 
Content folders in it,  navigate to this library:

    ./Contents/MacOS/Eudora Stuff/UPPERlower Carbon

If you remove the library (drag it on to the desktop) from the package 
Eudora will be well again.    Not 100% sure what functionality it 
removes, but my initial tests showed that Eudora was indeed able to 
launch and retrieve mail again.
