Fair enough. If you can't reproduce it and no one else reports it, I
wouldn't expect you would want to make any changes. I'm only reporting
what I found in case it is useful to you.

Hi. I cannot reproduce this problem on AIX 4.3.3

bash-2.04$ head ~/foo.conf
[libdefaults]
udp_preference_limit = 1
        default_tgs_enctypes = des-cbc-crc
                default_tkt_enctypes = des-cbc-crc
                        default_realm = ATHENA.MIT.EDU
                        [realms]
                                ATHENA.MIT.EDU = {
                                                kdc = kerberos.mit.edu
                                                        }
                                                                RAEBURN.ORG = {
                                                                bash-2.04$ echo $KRB5_CONFIG
                                                                /home/hartmans/foo.conf
                                                                bash-2.04$ ./Install/bin/kinit hartmans

If ture, this would be a significant departure from Unix socket
semantics.
