Dear Kosher Diner,
Campus Dining and Hillel have agreed to do away with the previous Kosher
Dining block meal plan format and incorporate Kosher Dining into the
Preferred Dining Membership (PDM) program used by the majority of students
in the House Dining locations. The PDM is $225 per semester and entitles
you to $4.00 off the $12.50 Kosher meal price. Therefor if you eat more
than 56 meals of the approximately 70 meals at Kosher per term with the
PDM, the membership more than pays for itself. You can pay with cash or
TechCASH and receive the $4.00 discount. The discount applies to the meal
only for your own consumption. If you do not eat kosher exclusively, the
PDM also entitles you to a 50% discount on most of your food purchases at
the four House Dining locations.
You can also just pay the $12.50 and not join the PDM program.
Its our hope that this will make Kosher Dining more attractive to a broader
customer base and easier to manage for regular Kosher Dining patrons.
Please feel free to contact my office if you have any questions. Our web
site will be updated shortly to reflect this change.
Best regards,
Rich Berlin
