Dear Kosher Diner,
After some customer feedback and concern regarding the value of the
Preferred Dining Membership to Kosher Dining patrons, MIT Campus Dining and
Hillel have agreed to increase the discount rate from $4.00 per meal to
$5.00 per meal. This will be effective as of tonight's dinner, Tuesday
2/15/05. There are approximately 60 meals remaining in the term at Kosher
Dining. Because enrollment in the Preferred Dining Membership is prorated
weekly, your potential savings is preserved even if you haven't signed up
at the start of the term. The prorated fee this week is $194 and $178 next
week. http://web.mit.edu/mitcard/techcash/preferred%20dining.html
We will also be establishing a kosher dining committee that will meet
periodically to address any concerns with the service and to air new ideas
to enhance the program. If you are interested in participating in this
committee, please contact Kosher Dining's manager, Marietta Lamarre-Buck at
mlbuck at mit.edu.
It is our sincere hope that this change will make Kosher Dining an
economical choice when weighing your food service options.
Thank you,
Richard D. Berlin III
Director, MIT Campus Dining
