Just log onto web.mit.edu/mitcard/techcash/onlinemgmt.html, fill out the application and deposit your selected meal plan amount. ENJOY IT! As a meal plan member you don?t have to worry about your next Kosher meal. Enjoy Shabbat, Holiday and weekday dinners throughout the academic year! Kosher Dining is conveniently located in the MIT Religious Activities Center. If you maintain a strict kosher diet, you can be assured that MIT Kosher Dining adheres to the highest standards of Jewish dietary law. We have hired one of the areas most highly regarded kosher caterers to provide food for this program and the service is part of MIT?s House Dining program. Program oversight is by the Vaad Harabonim of New England (Rabbinical Council of New England), MIT Campus Dining, and MIT Hillel. Currently Kosher Dining offers dinner, an all-inclusive meal with soup, salad bar, bread or rolls, choice of entr?e or vegetarian entr?e, side vegetable and starch, fruit or dessert and unlimited fountain beverages. Dinners are served Monday through Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. MIT Shabbat & Holiday Meals Take a break from your hectic week and enjoy a special enhanced menu with grape juice, challah bread and more. Shabbat is a festive, traditional family-style atmosphere and a special time for the Jewish campus community! Friday night and holidays meals are served at 7 p.m. Kosher Plan Campus Dining offers a number of kosher Plan options. You can use your TechCASH account to purchase Kosher meals or enroll in a Kosher Plan, which will save you money over the walk-in price. Kosher Plans are available in meal ?blocks? which you use at your discretion throughout the semester. The Any 50 Plan for example, is a block of 50 meals that can be used at any of the approximately 70-75 kosher meals served each semester, including Shabbat and holiday meals. The larger the block you enroll in, the lower your cost per meal and the greater the number of guest meals you receive. If you live in a residence hall and are required to purchase a Preferred Dining Membership, your membership fee may be applied toward the purchase of a Kosher Plan.
