He's probably doing what I did, for which I sent you my notes. I was not
using cygwin and I was using VS 2005. I did this on kfw 3.0 so YMMV.
There are quite a few things that were missing in the source code so you
couldn't build it from the provided source.
I haven't had the bandwidth to build a new version, but I'm sure it will
fail in the same way.
