Sorry, I misunderstood. 

They want the behavior that running a second instance of Leash without
parameters would cause the first instance to "show" the credentials
window. 

I think I would prefer to add "--show" and "--hide" command line
options.    If that would meet their need, please open a ticket in RT
for it.
