msiexec /quiet should work fine, yes.

Even in interactive mode there's no way to control the krb5.conf file (which
can affect default ccache locations).  There is a registry entry that can
force the path to krb5.conf (which, since the registry entry specifies the
full path, does not need to be named krb5.conf), though, FWIW.  Only
the KRB5_CONFIG environment variable has higher precedence than
{HKCU,HKLM}\Software\MIT\Kerberos5\config
