You should be able to just delete the files:

  /var/kerberos/krb5kdc/principal
  /var/kerberos/krb5kdc/principal.ok
  /var/kerberos/krb5kdc/principal.kadm5
  /var/kerberos/krb5kdc/principal.kadm5.lock

(In most cases, "rm /var/kerberos/krb5kdc/principal*" would make sense,
if you haven't used that name for anything else.)
