#defines for version available?

The src/patchlevel.h file isn't built into krb5.h, or any other publicly 
installed file I can find.  Is there any way to find the version of 
kerberos installed during compile time?

 From these, it looks like there was a plan to at least add a reliable 
command line switch to one of the apps, did that happen?  Running 
strings on the lib is kind of insane.
