ANNOUNCEMENT: Beta test opportunity, Kerberized Certificate Authority for Active Directory

Secure Endpoints Inc. has ported the UMich Kerberized
Certificate Authority Service to Active Directory.
The KCA issues X.509 certificates to authenticated
clients whose Kerberos principal is associated with
an Active Directory User object via the User Principal
Name attribute.  The resulting X.509 certificates can
then be used to provide certificate based client
authentication while at the same time ensuring that
the authenticating party receives the client's Kerberos
principal name for use in authorization decisions.

Organizations that are interested in finding out more
about the KCA Service for Active Directory and are
interested in testing the service are encouraged to
