using k5start

Hello list,

may be s.o. can help me out.

I have a home directory that comes from an nfs server. I get a ticket on 
login using pam. If it expires I sue kinit. The probelm is that I would 
like to let processes run (wo/constantly kinit-ing) with access to my 
home that run longer that the ticket lifetime.
k5start seems to be promising. But in order to start a process k5start 
needs a keytab. If I create a keytab for my pricipal I can no longer use 
my password to get a ticket from the KDC.
I have the nagging feeling I am missing something.
