Query regarding kinit....

Hi All,
I have  krb5-1.6.0.2 on SUSE 9 linux . Now the scenario is that i have created database and principle has been stored in it. Now when i am doing kinit following error gets generated ..
  
$:/usr/local/bin # kinit admin/admin
kinit(v5): Invalid argument while getting initial credentials
  Both the deamons(kadmind and krb5kdc) are also running. following are my configration files.
  kdc.conf
[kdcdefaults]
        kdc_ports = 88

                database_name = /usr/local/var/krb5kdc/principal
                admin_keytab = FILE:/usr/local/var/krb5kdc/kadm5.keytab
