Please file a bug report to kfw-bugs at mit.edu.
In principal I have no objection to treating the kuser utilities as
console applications that should never raise a GUI dialog. However, I
would like to hear an opinion from MIT before I make such a change.
The current behavior is inherited from some very old Windows platforms
that are no longer supported.
