krb5-1.4.3 build problems

Hello

I am trying to build krb5-1.4.3 on a FC5.  Following is the compiler/library 
version I have installed:

kernel: 2.6.16-1.2096_FC5xen0
gcc-4.1.1
glibc-2.4
glibc-devel-2.4

Following is the error I am getting:

I tried commenting out getline from the header file, but it still gives the 
error.
