SuSE Ent Server gets Resopnse too big for UDP, retry with TCP

Hello there,

I have been able to successfully run kinit from a linux shell on my
SuSE Ent Serv 9.1 64-bit server.

I recently installed SuSE Ent Serv 9.1 32-bit on another server and
installed the Kerberos client via YaST. When I run kinit I get the
following message:

kint: krb5_get_init_creds: Response too big for UDP, retry with TCP

If I pass kinit an invalid password for my userid I get the following:

kinit: krb5_get_init_creds: Preauthentication failed

So, I know I am at least getting to the kdc, because of the different
error messages I am receiving. I have also worked with my AD
administrator who has told me that the AD log shows an athentication
failure. So, my question is why does SuSE 64-bit work,a nd SuSE 32-bit
not work? From a Kerberos point of view, I configure them identically.

Thanks in advance,

Bret
