Automated Keytab installation

I'm about to embark on a project to do automated keytab installation
for large batch system installations. I was wondering if anybody else
has done work in this area? As far as I know there is no general  
solution,
I've got some ideas based on some of our local administration software,
but if there are more general solutions I would like to look at them.
