newbie question

I was going to set up NIS in a small lab, but now am considering LDAP,
Kerberos, or NIS+ instead.  However, the question I need to answer first is
if they support Solaris 2.6, 8, and 10?  Also, I would think Kerberos would
be optimal due to the tight security needed, however I would like to know
some other advantages/disadvantages of using it compared to the others?
