FW: krb5-1.3.5 build issues on Solaris 2.8

>  Following your build instructions (as in http://web.mit.edu/kerberos/www/krb5-1.3/krb5-1.3.5/doc/krb5-install.html#Doing%20the%20Build) I was able to do the first step (cd /u1/krb5-1.3/src  followed by ./configure - I use gcc-3.4.2-sol8-sparc... ) successfully. But on "make" (I use make-3.80-sol8-sparc...) I get following messages:
> 	make [2]: *** [libcom_err.a] Error 255
> 	make [1]: *** [all-recurse] Error 1
> 	make: *** [all-recurse] Error 1
> also see attached file (after running make again).
> >  <<make.log>>  I also tried with "/usr/ccs/bin"in my PATH and it still gives me the same problem.  
> Can you please advise if these are fatal and/or the recourse.
