Kerberos client question

I'm using suse-linux and have both local users and users on the Kerberos
server (Windows AD).  This working OK, but the authentication process is
slow and also the local users are first trying to be authenticated on the
Kerberos server and then at the local password files.  How can I configure
this so that the local passwd are beeing tested first?



Any way to speed up the authentication for AD?

(kinit is working fast).
