Whether Java GSS-API uses MIT kerberos code?

Hi,

 I am using jdk 1.4.2. I wanted to know if GSS-API provided in jdk 1.4.x uses
MIT kerberos code underneath? 

 I saw, $JDK_HOME/jre/bin includes security tools like kinit, klist etc., wanted
to know if they are from MIT distribution?
