question about FTP and kerberos

	If I add a user to my W2K Domain controler,  and then they log in
from outside my network, will the ftp files and password be encrypted?

or should I stick to  SSH and sftp ?

	I think ???  I understand the network authentication part of
kerberos, but does it also encrypt the password? I think not. help

	I've spent several hours reading about kerberos from all the popular
links MIT, navy labs, and many more including from microsoft as it relates to
W2K  and I'm still a very confused newbie in this area.


any responses are welcomed, I do have a OpenBSD box running and testing that
too.
